Our story:
My wife and I recently had our first child, our son Connor. Here is how her experience has inspired our business idea:
“During my pregnancy, as my body was growing and changing, I easily found many great fashions for pregnant moms. I felt that maternity wear was sexy and fun. When my first son was born I chose to breastfeed, wanting to give him the best start in life that I could. I lived in my pajamas because with the button down top, they were my only clothes that provided easy breastfeeding access. When I went out I used the same old nursing tank top each time; I felt unattractive and frumpy. As a result, I went in search of some fashionable nursing wear. I was disappointed to find that there was not much selection in nursing tops. My local nursing store had only four or five styles, none of which appealed to me.
It was disheartening to find such a lack of support for the breastfeeding mom. Breastfeeding is a beautiful experience, and I believe that as a mom, you should feel beautiful too.
